The 2023 edition of the Porretta Terme Film Festival will also give ample space to activities dedicated to schools and young students, to place emphasis on the importance of the link between cinema and school and the need to bring a new generation of spectators to the silver screen, with small films of great artistic and cultural value.

SPECIAL SCREENING FOR SCHOOLS
As part of the festival programme, there was a special screening for schools.
School children will get to see the film Io Capitano by Matteo Garrone, on two consecutive mornings due to the large number of participants. Winner of the Silver Lion for Best Direction, of the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Leading Actor, of the Fellini Medal 2023, just to name a few honours.
Dealing with a highly topical subject, it tells a story that characterises and influences the history of these early years of the century.
